Why Taxation Podcasts?

In addition to lecturing and consulting I describe myself as a broadcaster as a result of many years of appearances on radio phone-ins, discussion and news programmes, TV programmes, on Channel 4 and Accountant’s TV, and preparing and producing audio study tapes and videos for training organisations.  Listening to podcasts produced by large firms before creating my own I was disappointed by the dull, dare I say monotony of both the content – well tax is hard to make interesting – and the presentation which frankly leaves a lot to be desired.

I have set out to create a series of podcasts which I hope you won’t find dull; they are aimed mainly at the busy small practitioner who needs every assistance to keep up to date with recent changes and essential concepts, and I have tried to make them as interesting as possible.  I think a financially literate taxpayer will also find them usefulas will students of accountancy and taxation.

I hope you enjoy these podcasts and find them useful.  Please leave comments and suggestions for topics you’d like covered in future.

If you need help producing podcasts for use in your firm’s business, as a means of advertising or contacting clients do contact me.

Just thought I’d add this cartoon by Stefan Bremner-Morris an old boy from my school…

Thanks Stefan!
